Civil War

This is a renactment of a Civil War battle. The Civil War was a war between the North states and the South states of the United States. In the Video, you will see the blue is the North and the South is the gray. Many men fought and died. Over 600,000 men died on both sides. The South was fighting because they felt they were being taxed unfairly and didn't have enough power to make their own decisions. The South also wanted to keep slavery legal and the North wanted to set the slaves free. Watch this video and see what a battle would have looked like.

What's happening in the rest of the World: While The United States was fighting the Civil war ,a great man named David Livingstone was fighting the hot sun of Africa. This is a famous preacher telling the story of David and his great life. David had to fight lions and eat frogs and locust all in the name of Jesus. He shared the Gospel with many, many people in Africa.
